HyperLite™ PP HGB1 Light Weight Polypropylene (PP) 3D Filament

HyperLite™ PP HGB1 is made using a specialty formulated polypropylene that we created specifically for 3D printing.  Our formulation includes a specialty additive that enables ultra low density (0.75g/cc) along with lower shrink & warp compared to competitor's PP-based 3D filaments.  HyperLite™ PP is a game changer for industrial printing of PP-based materials for engineering-grade applications.  

HyperLite™ HGB1 Polypropylene Attributes:
Does not absorb moisture - no drying needed
Ultra-low density at 0.75g/cc allows for light-weight parts
High impact and elongation - retains PP flexibility
Superior dimensional stability due to low shrinkage, low warp, and no moisture uptake]

Please note that because of the low density of our HyperLite™ PP HGB1, a 500g reel has about the same amount of filament as a standard 750g reel of ABS.  

Chemical Resistance:
Acids: Acetic, Boric, Hydrochloric, Phosphoric, Stearic, Sulfuric, Uric
Bases: Hydroxides of Ammonium, Barium, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium
Solvents:  Acetone, Ethanol, MEK, Phenol (10%), Water
Please Note:  Chemical resistance information is for the base resin used in our formulation and customers are encouraged to test their parts to determine fitness for any particular use.

Recommended Print Conditions:
Extruder:  210-240°C depending on printer
Bed Temp:  60-90°C
Bed Prep:  Magigoo PP Bed Prep (HERE)
