3DXSTAT™ EMI-PETG

Introducing our advanced EMI Shielding PETG filament, engineered to meet the demands of cutting-edge 3D printing applications where electromagnetic interference (EMI) is a critical concern. Crafted for high-performance and reliability, this filament is designed to provide exceptional shielding against electromagnetic signals, particularly in the 5GHz to 8GHz range. Whether you’re creating prototypes, enclosures, or custom parts for electronics, our EMI Shielding PETG ensures your components stay protected from unwanted interference and maintain optimal performance.

Our EMI Shielding PETG filament boasts impressive test results, demonstrating superior shielding effectiveness that meets industry standards. The filament’s unique composition not only enhances the electromagnetic shielding properties but also maintains the ease of use and durability that PETG is known for. With excellent layer adhesion, minimal warping, and high impact resistance, this filament provides a robust and reliable solution for engineers and hobbyists alike.

Benefits of 3DXSTAT™ EMI-PETG

  • Amorphous structure giving it low, near isotropic shrinkage
  • Low moisture absorption, 3x lower than ABS
  • Very low odor while printing
  • Wide processing range from 230-270C

Nozzle-Abrasion

Abrasive Material

This material is particularly abrasive among 3D printing filaments. Users may find standard brass nozzles are chewed through very quickly compared to standard wear and tear. When worn through, the nozzle diameter will widen inconsistently and the printer will experience extrusion issues.

Because of this, it's strongly recommended this material be printed through a hardened steel nozzle rather than a softer metal. Hardened steel nozzles can often be inexpensive and easily installed depending on your printer manufacturer's instructions.

Material DETAILS

Glass Fiber Reinforced Filament

Rectangle111

What Is It?

DescriptionFibers made of glass reinforced into the polymer during manufacturing and aligned along the axis of filament. This, along with their physical makeup, give this material enormous strength and mechanical properties.
Rectangle222

What Does It Do?

Glass fiber reinforcement gives material a lot of desirable properties: High strength High stiffness High chemical resistance Low thermal expansion
Rectangle333

How Does It Work?

Reinforcing plastic with glass fibers produces a 3D printing filament which exhibits the best properties of both fiberglass and the plastic of choice.
